Are you looking for a role that offers a variety of work?

An interesting role has arisen in our team where you be advising Police Officers and PCSO’s on the most appropriate intervention on a case by case basis. You will be supporting the local neighbourhood teams to provide early interventions to draw individuals away from crime.

 

In this role your Main Responsibilities will be:-

  • Researching and disseminating information relating to Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) incidents for the Area, and producing relevant reports.
  • Arranging and attending Multi-Agency ASB case meetings, being responsible for the distribution of relevant information and administration resulting from such meetings.
  • Supporting areas in the management of perpetrators of Anti-Social Behaviour, supporting appropriate courses of action and assisting in the preparation of any documentation relating to it.
  • Acting as a point of contact and support for partners and all staff and Neighbourhood Managers in relation to Anti-Social Behaviour.
  • Facilitating the exchange of information with other agencies in line with legislation.
  • Carrying out duties consistent with the role as and when required under the instruction of the Anti-Social Behaviour Co-ordinator.

 

Skills, Experience and Qualifications required:

  • Good communication skills, both orally and in writing.
  • Experience of arranging meetings and minute taking.
  • Experience of dealing with people and challenging unacceptable behaviour both over the phone and face to face. 
  • Experience of working with multi agency partners and exchanging information with them. 
  • Experience of using databases and spreadsheets to intermediate level, specifically MS Excel and Word. 
  • Experience of evaluating information and making reasoned decisions. 
  • Hold a full current driving licence or be able to travel around the force area using alternative transport.
  • Experience of working with vulnerable victims and offenders of Anti-Social Behaviour.

To be eligible to apply for this role you must have a 3 year ‘checkable history’ in the UK – ideally this means that you would have been resident in the UK for the last 3 years.
