Do you have excellent secretarial, administration and organisational skills, with experience of diary co-ordination and making travel arrangements?
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Personal Assistant to join our busy department, providing an efficient, confidential and professional secretarial and administrative service to our Senior Leaders in the Constabulary.
In this role as a Personal Assistant you will be responsible for the organisation and administration of meetings including the taking of minutes. Your strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential in this role as you will need to plan and action communications on behalf of the Senior Leaders.
In this role your main responsibilities will be:
• Managing your Senior Leader’s emails and diary
• Planning and organising meetings
• Taking minutes and actions
• Preparing communication / correspondence
Skills, experience and qualifications required:
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills
• Previous administration experience
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office packages
• Experience of arranging and preparing meetings
This role is 18.5 hours per week, working flexibly over Monday, Tuesday and Friday.

To be eligible to apply for this role you must have a 3 year ‘checkable history’ in the UK – ideally this means that you would have been resident in the UK for the last 3 years.
