We are looking for someone who is able to ideally support the One Team meeting which is held on a Tuesday by preparing material required to be presented.

The role would be based either at home on Teams or at the Bournville and Oldmixon Neighbourhood Partnership Team base.

If so, you should apply to become a local policing support volunteer for Avon and Somerset Constabulary.

  • Support in proactive crime prevention initiatives
  • Assist with the coordination of public meetings e.g. beat surgeries
  • Make and receive telephone calls
  • Photocopying, scanning, general typing and filing
  • Preparing material and attendance to the One Team meeting

You will need a good knowledge of computer software applications e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.

As a local policing support volunteer you will have flexibility around how often you wish to volunteer, to fit in with other commitments. However, in this role there is a requirement to be available on Tuesdays.

The nature of the role may at times require you to complete tasks under your own initiative and with minimal supervision.  You will need to be able to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
