An exciting opportunity has become available for a Workforce Planning Assistant to join our Workforce Planning Team.

Our Workforce Planning Assistants provide professional succession planning and administrative support to the organisation, which ensure the delivery of workforce planning and promotion activity.

Do you have experience of working in an administrative environment, especially using Microsoft Office packages including Word, Excel and Outlook? Can you compile basic data and statistics?

You will be responsible for accurate and timely input of data and supporting the planning and delivery of effective recruitment and selection processes for Police Officer promotion processes.

 
In this role your main responsibilities will be:

•Quality assuring of data and carrying out necessary research to provide clarity as to the change being requested to workforce plans.

•Taking responsibility for the accurate and timely input of data, ensuring all relevant databases are up to date to inform offers and organisational decision making.

•Producing basic data and statistics to support the planning.

•Monitoring of establishments ensuring accurate recording and highlighting and explaining any discrepancies, trends and changes to ensure the integrity of the organisation structure and workforce data.

•Supporting the planning and delivery of effective recruitment and selection processes for Police Officer promotion processes, providing advice and guidance to applicants and stakeholders on all queries, monitoring process outcomes and implementing process improvements.

 

Skills, experience and qualifications required:

•Good working knowledge and experience of using Microsoft Office programmes and computer databases

•Verbal and written communication skills

•High degree of accuracy and attention to detail

•Ability to work to deadlines and meet competing demands

•Proven ability to work with limited supervision

To be eligible to apply for this role you must have a 3 year ‘checkable history’ in the UK – ideally this means that you would have been resident in the UK for the last 3 years.
